Chertsey Museum

A local history and archaeology museum in a Regency house which contains the Olive Matthews Collection of historic costumes and accessories, clocks and a hands-on discovery zone. There is a varied programme of temporary exhibitions and events including local history, art and craft. A garden can also be visited. The museum is closed for approximately 12 months for major improvements and is in a temporary location until summer 2003 at Unit 3, The Sainsbury Centre (just off Guildford Street) in a reduced capacity.
